Lovely, characterful, rustic and comfortable place

We had a wonderful stay at Desert Camp. It is the perfect mix between basic and rustic, but also clean, smart and comfortable. Camping with style would sum it up nicely. We enjoyed the pool, and the cost-effective and efficient food ordering system makes self-catering simple and easy. All utilities are on hand and we had a great braai experience with four or five different types of tender, flavourful local game meats and portions of fresh tasty salads for four at less than the price of ...

Although hot in the tents we enjoyed our stay and the staff at the lodge were very helpful. As it was my husbands birthday, they baked him a cake and sang to him at dinner that evening. Thank you for the extra touch!

We thorougly enjoyed our stay at desert camp in spite of the relentless rain and the power cut. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, offering us candles and a complimentary breakfast at the main lodge because of the power cut. The tents are roomy and comfortable and the setting is stunning. I hope that we are able to come again.

We were just staying for one night, but I can tell you that this is an awesome place. We can not complain about anything. If you are staying in this area. You have to try desert camp. It is unique with its special tent designed "appartments".
