Dephala Farmstay provides comfortable self-catering accommodation on a private farm situated on the doorstep of the Dinokeng Big 5 Reserve. Come and enjoy the bushveld in a secure environment close to nature. We strive to offer you a peaceful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Dinokeng Big 5 Reserve offers game drives, restaurants, pubs and other activities. Your leisure time at Dephala can be filled with activities such as bush walks, fishing and birding, or spend quality time with your friends and family at your private pool and lapa area. We also boast a 10-hole Wild Golf Course along the banks of the river.

Dephala Farmstay offers accommodation in one rustic cottage close to the main farm house, enabling guests to experience a getaway without interference from other holidaymakers yet have the comfort of your hosts nearby, should you need any assistance to make your stay more enjoyable.

The cottage is ideal for a family and can accommodate up to six guests. The cottage features one bedroom with a double bed, an open-plan loft bedroom with three single beds and a single sleeper couch in the lounge area. Additional accommodation for two guests is available in a separate rondavel. This accommodation forms part of the farmstay cottage and cannot be rented separately as cooking and other facilities have to be shared.

The cottage further comprises a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and outside open braai area. A large, private lapa and pool area with built-in braai under thatch is for the exclusive use of our guests. The cottage has a TV and DVDs and videos are available on request. A library of novels are also available in the cottage for the avid reader.

Dephala Farmstay is located deep in the bush, but only 70 km away from Pretoria and about an hour’s drive from Johannesburg. Activities on the farm include swimming, volley ball, walking trails and fishing.
