As was anticipated from a shorter visit last year [2007] this year was exceptional overall again thanks to the attention of the staff, particularly Sarie and the standard of accomodation. It is my intention to visit again next year.

A bit about this place
This beautifully restored nine roomed, Cape Georgian Manor House, with tranquil terrace and pool, overlooks the village, the famous Table Bay and distant Stellenbosch Mountains.
De Waterkant House is centrally located, minutes from the Cape Quarter Shopping Centre, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, restaurants, bars and fashionable nightspots. Spend your day at the pool or end it with an aperitif on the terrace and a quiet dinner at a local restaurant, or join in the fun of the pulsating nightlife within walking distance from De Waterkant House.
