Accommodation and hospitality was superb, better than perfect, really of a high quality. We were only there the one night as was touring but would have liked to stay longer. We loved Bruno and Lulu (dogs) and the little entertainment of a real bat in the tooth-mug had us all in laughter. I set it free!

Our stay was great, hosts very helpful and cottage really cosy. It was great that we were able to prepare our own food on the braai and it was definitely one of the best stays of our trip to S Africa

This cosy guest-house is situated on a working ostrich and alfalfa farm, with some 2000 ostriches on extensive alfalfa fields, with spectacular views of the Olifants River Valley and the Swartberg Mountain range. This charming Victorian homestead dating back to 1910, together with its tranquil surroundings, fine antique furniture, gleaming woodwork and spaciousness, is reminiscent of yesteryear.

Our accommodation consists of 3 warmly decorated luxury self-catering units and a bedroom in main house with private bathroom, well equipped .
Activities on this farm include bird watching, mountain biking, and walks in absolute safety and harmony. Daily environmental and farm tours to watch ostrich chicks hatching are also available and are very popular.
