Danke offers old-fashioned luxury accommodation which is far removed from the daily grind of life as it lies in the heart of the Overberg. It offers privacy, simplicity, peace and tranquility with a breathtaking view of the Riviersonderend Mountains and Salt River.

Danke is a private haven situated in a region that is embroidered with a tapestry of multicoloured hills. During summer, green wheat lands turn into different shades of yellow. In autumn you are surrounded by brown fields which bounce back to all shades of green after the first winter rains. Danke is situated in an area that is as unique as it is idyllic.

Activities include bringing that best seller with that you never get time to read, taking a leisurely stroll to the river, watching cows being milked, bike riding, birdwatching, great photographic opportunities and watching the springbuck, nguni cattle, shy bushbuck and bontebok. Your neighbours are sheep, cattle, blue cranes, guinea fowl, meercat, springbuck and the odd porcupine.

A prepared breakfast can be arranged on request at an additional cost, and we can provide braai wood and meat packs.

This is a fully equipped self-catering cottage with two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed while the other bedroom has two single beds. The couch in the lounge can be used as an additional bed. Towels and linen are supplied and electricity and candles are provided. The kitchen has tea and coffee facilities, bottled mineral water, a fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom has both a shower and a bath. Smoking is only permitted outside the cottage.
