Cornerstone Guesthouse is a small, private and peaceful bed and breakfast an easy walk to the sea and the town centre of Swakopmund on Namibia's fascinating Skeleton Coast.
Occupying a quiet corner of Swakopmund's old town near the marine museum and the old brewery, within a few minutes from the guest house you can walk to beaches, cafés, restaurants, lively pubs, Swakopmund tourist attractions and a variety of interesting shops and markets in the town.
Cornerstone Guesthouse offers bed and breakfast accommodation in seven double/twin rooms. Each has a private entrance and patio with table and chairs; inside, the rooms are light, spacious and neat with tile and wood floors, beach house colours and your choice of double or twin beds.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms with large solar-assisted showers and modern fittings. Room facilities include wall-mounted LCD flat-screen satellite TV, mini fridge, kettle with complimentary tea-and-coffee, outside entrance and private patio, en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin, digital safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board on request, international wall sockets and a wireless internet access.
Facilities and services: The breakfast room at Cornerstone Guesthouse is large, light and airy. You can sit on the veranda on warm days or inside at individual tables. We offer an inclusive breakfast with a fresh selection of fruits, juices, yoghurts, breads, preserves and eggs and bacon cooked to order. Wash that all down with our freshly brewed coffee or your choice of tea and you'll be ready to explore the attractions of Swakopmund and the Skeleton Coast.

On the corner of Rhode Allee and Hendrik Witbooi, Cornerstone Guesthouse is within earshot of the Atlantic Ocean, 500m from the Marine Museum and the delightful Tug Seafood Restaurant both overlooking the sea. Close to the sea we are also close to the town centre where a safe two-minute walk takes you to several bistros, curio shops, craft markets, galleries, museums, shops and amenities.
Swakopmund is a small town with charming neo-Gothic German architecture on the Skeleton Coast. The town is 30km north of the port city of Walvis Bay and 70 km south of the fishing village of Henties Bay and is an essential stopover en route north or south between Etosha and Sossusvlei.
