Description

Set in the charming Koringberg Village, centred in the Swartland and an easy hours' drive along the N7 from Cape Town, is a private and tranquil fully self-catering country retreat and restaurant.

Accommodation is provided in four well-appointed, fully fitted self-catering units. One is located off of the courtyard in the old barn, two are in the farm house with two bedrooms each and the other is a garden cottage.

Leiklip walls, indoor shutters and high ceilings with fans ensure cool summer comfort, whilst wood burning fireplaces glow and warm in winter. Elegant colourful décor finished with fine linen guarantees restful nights. Teas, coffee and a selection of treats are available on arrival.

Activities include horse riding, hiking and biking through the Rhenosterveld, sunset cruises and water sports at Misverstand Dam, fly-fishing on the Berg River, and clay pigeon shooting and tours throughout the Swartland. These include the Swartland Wine and Olive Route, nature reserves and historical sites. The best being is to do nothing and enjoy the peace and quiet.
