Situated just 20 minutes on the East London side of Grahamstown, approximately halfway between Durban and Cape Town, Coombs Cottage is a four bed, self-contained, thatch cottage, nestled in amongst secluded Eastern Cape valley-forest.

A unique and special stopover, the farm is teeming with a variety of bird species and small game and is an ideal retreat for nature lovers.

The Cottage comprises a double room, with en-suite shower and toilet, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, and children's/guest toilet, with two single beds situated in the living area. The Cottage is set into the valley thicket surrounding the Lodge, enjoying its own deck and braai. It can be let together with, or independently of, the Lodge.

Well worth another visit

Awesome! Money well spent. It is safe with a relaxing atmosphere. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was more than we expected.

We enjoyed the stay at Coombs Cottage very much. It is a wonderful place and we were warmly welcomed by Jeremy. We highly recommend this accommodation with its tranquil and quiet setting and will definitely visit them again. Thank you. It was an awesome stay!

Stayed 2 nights in tented camp nestling in the bush with plenty of antelope in the vicinity. Self catering facilities are fantastic. Would go back any time and hopefully for longer stay

Jeremy came to meet us after dark and made sure we were ok for the rest of our stay. The cottage is lovely and clean. Safe end clean bottled water was even supplied. I highly recommend Coombs Cottage. Oh, and the wild life greets you in the morning just outside the fence.
