Collin 101

Part of the Hibiscus Coast, Uvongo is a welcoming town with secluded and unspoiled beaches, superb fishing sites, a nature reserve and beautiful scenery. Uvongo is named after the Ivungu River and is well-known for its waterfall that plummets 23 m down into the lagoon, creating one of the deepest lagoons in the country.

Collin 101 is situated on the ground floor of the building and has 180 degree views of the Indian Ocean. There are three bedrooms; the main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other two bedrooms have twin beds. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge for an extra guest or children. There are two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with doors that open onto a balcony with a gas braai. There is a heated swimming pool in the complex and a garage with remote access.

Uvongo is also known for its large rock escarpments that are thick with beautiful foliage which shelters the beach. These shimmering waters are ideal for all water sports. There are pedal boats for hire with which one can explore the river more fully. Beside the river runs a footpath which flows to the Uvongo River Nature Reserve. There is a lovely children’s paddling pool situated on the grassy banks and shaded by trees. Bring that picnic basket full of snacks and enjoy a fun family outing.
