What a great start to a Holiday...,02 October 2008
Such a great start to the holiday and such a lovely town. Our stay in Fish Hoek was great and the property was very comfortable. The Pool area is lovely to catch some sunshine whilst having breakfast in the morning. Will surely be back on our return to South Africa.

Our stay was very interesting and relaxing with good restaurants in Kalk Bay. Also Barry and Linda were helpful and their staff Grace and Charles were really good. I would recommend Clovelly Lodge to others travelling to Clovelley

Description

The Winelands, Cape Point, V&A Waterfront, Robben Island, Boulders african penguin colony Chapman’s Peak, Simon’s Town, Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens, Constantia and the famous restaurants and bars of trendy Kalk Bay fishing village are all just a short drive.
Nearby beaches of white sand and calm tidal pools offer some of Cape Town’s safest swimming.
Clovelly Lodge B&B Guest House with its sweeping vistas of the mountains, Silvermine Valley & Indian Ocean offers guests a tranquil, scenic base for any trip to Cape Town, be it for business, golf, honeymoon, adventure, fishing, whale-watching or just a relaxing holiday.
Wake up with the birds and enjoy a delicious, leisurely breakfast made to order in the shady patio or sunny dining room.
Next door to Clovelly golf-course and a 10 minute walk from the beach. B&B rates include breakfast and rooms are serviced daily. Also available for self-catering groups of six (three en-suite bedrooms).
Clovelly Lodge Guest Apartments – some with wheelchair access – offer privacy and independence in a managed, child-friendly environment just 5 minutes walk from the beach.
Enclosed grounds with indigenous gardens, swimming pool, laundry and secure parking provide a safe, peaceful environment.
Apartments have full or partial sea views and the decks, patios and gardens around the house give each unit a private outdoor space for braai's (barbecues), eating al fresco, sipping sundowners or just lounging around in the sunshine.
Ten minutes walk to the Clovelly championship 18-hole golf-course and 5 minutes from the beach.
Self-catering guests are welcome to come to the B&B guest house for breakfast by arrangement (extra charge applies). Apartments are serviced twice weekly (daily on request).
