Staying at Clifton Country House was such a nice experience. Friendly, helpful staff compliment a brethtaking view. All round comfortable stay, good food, and good friendly hosts... I'd recommend Clifton Country House any time, and will be going back when I'm in the area again...!

Built at the turn of the century. Built of rock. The ox wagon trail from Durban to Pietermaritzburg meandered past the dam. Was a butchery and store for travellers. |
