We survived Chestnut
The best holiday we had in years. Jan & Elise were excellent hosts and really made it very enjoyable to stay there. They entertained me, my wife and our 4 year old boy from the beginning till the end and we will go back to them.

We enjoyed the holiday of a lifetime! Jan & Elise were the perfect hosts and they catered to our every whim. The accommodation is great and in a fantastic setting where all sorts of wildlife made regular visits to the big, open gardens and surrounding area. We saw wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, impala, kudu, warthogs, mongeese, etc. every day. We saw a bushbaby in the evenings. The food was par excellence and there was always plenty of it. Description
Chestnut Bush Lodge is situated in a Game Reserve bordering the Kruger National Park. This Reserve is host to four of the “BIG 5” plus all the general game. With no fences, the animals are free to roam right up to the Lodge. The Crocodile River, the southern border of the Kruger National Park, is our northern border. Chestnut Bush Lodge offers the real African experience with: Tours to Mozambique – Sea experience, Swaziland – Cultural experience, Kruger National Park – Big 5 experience Panorama route – Scenic experience. All of the above is done from the lodge where we enjoy African cuisine, with evenings around the fire whilst listening to the roar of the lions and the laugh of the hyenas. CHESTNUT BUSH LODGE IS FULLY SERVICED WITH TOWELS, LINNEN, DINNER, BED AND BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN OUR RATES.
