Facilities

Charlstone Cottage is situated in the coastal resort of Kasouga near Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. This lovely house offers sea and river views and both the river and ocean are within easy walking distance.

The cottage can accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms and all bedding and towels are supplied, except for beach towels. The living room is an open plan design, with a kitchenette and lounge with a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four-plate stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge. The house also features a covered patio with table and chairs where guests can enjoy al fresco dining after a barbecue.

The house is surrounded by unspoilt coastal forest which ensures abundant wild life and birds visiting our garden. We also have a three-seater canoe on the river which guests are welcome to use.

Charlston is a lovely, relaxing spot with views of the surf from the living room window and patio, and a short walk down to the river estuary and to the ocean just beyond. A very well-appointed guest home -- an excellent value.

Quaint cottage with all the basics. Beautiful setting which we found very relaxing. Would have liked to meet the owner on arrival. Didn't get to meet them in the 5 days we were there.
