Marlies is a fantastic host! The setting is beautiful, the bathrooms of high european standard (you must not mix your hot water yourself!), more than enough towels (even if you need one for your body, one for your long hair and one for your face), the safety guard on duty every night absolutely perfect and most polite, as well as the breakfast staff. It was so great to have someone who genuinely cared that I was comfortable on my first night in South Africa. Li-Ann gave me a short tour of the property and showed me the procedure for opening and closing the gates for the car park. It was easy to find the property from JNB - I would guess it's about a 15 minute drive. Because of the 9 hour time difference, I woke up at 1 am and I drove back to JNB to exchange my rental car for a different model. The owners were very friendly and helped us in a very generous way because our rented car broke down an they did a great lot of phone calls and talked to the car - rental.
