Cedarberg Guest Farm is situated between Kokstad and Matatiele at the foothills of the most Southern Drakensberg and the Maluti Mountains. Our main aim is to offer an escape from the hustle and bustle everyday life. A bed and breakfast and dinner, bed and breakfast option is available on request.

Our horse riding and guided tours on the farm are very popular. The "boerperd" ponies are very tame and gentle. They are trained and bred by our son, Frits. Enjoy your own 4x4 trips on the farm or in the area. There are many beautiful sites and sceneries to see and we offer guided day trips into Lesotho. Become a weekend farmer and count sheep, milk cows and feed cattle. The farm is ideal for hiking, mountain biking and quad biking.

We also have a venue offering a liquor license for weddings, conferences and workshops. Nearby attractions are the bushmen paintings, river rafting as well as a golf course which is 30 km away. There is a shopping centre located about 30 km away, and a café and ATM are a mere 7 km away. Cedarville is close to three mountain passes with border posts into Lesotho. Our area has recently become part of the new Maluti Trans Frontier Park with Lesotho.

An old farmhouse with a cottage situated 1 km from the main house. There are five bedrooms sleeping from two to four people in each room, two shared bathrooms, a kitchen, a lounge with a fireplace and a TV with SABC channels. Bring own smart card for DStv. There is also an outside braai facility and the unit is very peaceful with a great atmosphere.
