The inn, located at the start of the Franschhoek Wine Route, is an ideal base for daily sight seeing trips - you can follow the wine routes exploring the quaint, historical towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl and the surrounding vineyards, tasting the fruit of the valley, with Cape Town just 40 minute drive away.

Visit the V&A Waterfront, take the cableway up Table Mountain, or simply opt out and locate under a sun umbrella with a novel and laze beside the pool until you can see the valley change as the sun sinks behind the mountains. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks whilst indigenous guinea fowl strut their stuff before settling down for the night, and when owls start to hoot, watch the full moon rise over the mountains.
