Each air conditioned unit opens onto a veranda and secluded garden, with spectacular vistas across vineyards to the towering Boland Mountains. Wake up to country quiet, clean air and glorious views. Shed city stress and strain on mountain walks or delight in bird watching. The inn, at the start of the Franschhoek Wine Route, is an ideal base for daily sight seeing trips - you can follow the wine routes, exploring the quaint, historical towns of Stellenbosch, Fransch hoek and Paarl and the surrounding vineyards, tasting the fruit of the valley. Cape Town is just 40 minute drive away. Visit the Waterfront or take the cable-way up Table Mountain. Or simply opt out, locate a sun umbrella and a novel, and laze beside the pool until you can see the valley change as the sun sinks behind the mountains. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks whilst indigenous guinea-fowl strut their stuff before settling down for the night, and when owls start to hoot, watch the full moon rise over the mountains.
