Castelo do Mar, a beachfront lodge at Inhambane’s Linga Linga beach area, is the holiday or corporate destination of your dreams. This beachfront lodge overlooks the Inhambane bay and has been renovated to pristine condition, furnished with local woods and imported linens and fittings. Castelo do Mar Lodge is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate up to 12 people in six en-suite bedrooms. Decorated with natural shades, the rooms emit a sense of luxury and comfort.

Due to our remoteness, we are also an ideal venue for small conferences, team building and management meetings. For the keen fisherman, the area offers excellent game fishing opportunities and several boats with state-of-the-art fishing gear are available for hire. Snorkelling and scuba diving can also be arranged and a dive compressor is available. We have various diving and fishing equipment for hire.

Castelo do Mar is a 25-minute boat trip from Inhambane. Transfer rates are charged separately. Our accommodation rates include all meals, tea and coffee and local beers. Our wine cellar is well stocked with an exceptional selection of wines and spirits on sale. Scheduled flights to and from Inhambane makes our destination easy to reach as it is only a one-and-a-half hour flying time from OR Tambo. We specialize in chartered flights to suit your private schedule.

Tranquil, pristine beaches and warm waters reflecting outstanding sunsets ensure a getaway of a lifetime. Surrounding the lodge are coconut forests, as well as mangrove swamps. Due to exceptionally high tides, the waters rise over the sands making access by road difficult, therefore Linga Linga is often referred to as an island.
