The Uvongo beach area is beautiful and the waterfall is a truly grand sight, with canoes on the lagoon and waves that crash into the tidal pool. The Natal Parks Board operates the Skyline Nature Reserve in Uvongo. The River Reserve starts at the tennis courts in Uvongo and the Oribi Gorge is just spectacular. This is the region's most famous and beautiful scenic drive.
