Casa Tia Villa Holiday Home Mauritius is a unique, privately owned and managed small complex, offering a variety of self-catering accommodation in restored natural stone buildings, with a shared swimming pool. The studio, bungalows and villa are suitable for families, couples, groups of friends or singles, depending on the specific needs or budget of our guests.

Accommodation is let on a self-catering basis, and the individual properties have kitchens ranging from fully fitted American-style to basic. All are generously equipped to cover your catering needs. The optional services of a housemaid or meals are provided at a supplement, and a wide array of services and facilities are available, including a swimming pool, a boulles court, barbecue, and mountain bike hire.

Casa Tia Villa is situated at the foot of the valley, between Lion and Bamboo Mountains, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are stunning views of the forested mountain slopes and Kestrel Valley, formally known as Domaine du Chasseur. The grounds are extensively planted with palm trees and bromeliads, citrus fruits, mangoes, bananas, papayas, guavas, and many other tropical fruits.

The local coast and fishing village of Anse Jonchee is a leisurely stroll from the doorstep, and the shoreline in the immediate area is naturally rugged and undeveloped. Deserted sandy coves are interspersed along the sea shore. This truly is a nature lover’s paradise and is ideally suited to artists, naturalists, bird-watchers, walkers, nature and garden lovers or those looking for peace and tranquility. Here you will discover the real Mauritius.

Once you have relaxed, you may wish explore the local mountain slopes on foot or mountain bike. There are also easy walks and strenuous trails to be found locally. Further afield, we are an ideal base for visiting the fabulous East Coast tourist resorts, and as a starting point for exploring the island.
