Description

Casa Rex now offers travellers a sublime stopover in Vilanculos. Reminiscent of a gracious area, its buildings encompassed in lush gardens, Casa Rex overlooks the southern-central section of Vilanculos Bay.

Accommodation is charmingly decorated in an individual style, with an emphasis in the lounge and dining areas on custom crafted wood furniture and fittings. With shower and toilet en-suite, all rooms offer a breezy perspective of the bay. For maximum comfort, airy mosquito nets are hung and windows are fitted with shutters against the occasional rain shower.

Luxury rooms offer air-conditioning and Internet access, as well as their own private balconies affording uninterrupted views of the ocean. Sip sundowners on the terrace or refresh yourself in the swimming pool overlooking the bay – the perfect way to end the day.

We were greeted at the airport and whisked away to an amazing resort. Mel and Susana assisted with the snorkelling trip, taxi services and restaurant recommendations. Delicious cocktails were served at the infinity pool that overlooked spectatcular scenery of white sands and blues seas. This was the same panorama I viewed from my balcony every day. Casa Rex is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The accommodation was wonderful, very clean and tidy. The thing that stands out most is the staff and hospitality that made our holiday. Would definitely recommend. Oh, and the food was amazing!

I can definitely recommend Cas Rex. The staff are fantastic - friendly and accommodating - nothing is too much trouble for them! The rooms are very comfortable - we were upgraded to the Acacia room and its well worth it to have the air-con - gets very very hot and humid in Vilancoulos The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go back again - but next time will fly to Vilancoulos - the roads are shocking in some parts.
