Carpe Diem is an ideally located guesthouse just 100m from the beach and a few blocks away from the centre of town in Jeffreys Bay. The tranquil setting under the large wild fig trees overlooks the pristine blue ocean which is teaming with whales, dolphins and surfers from abroad who’ve come to ride the world famous perfect wave. Eight well appointed en suite self-catering rooms are available for the weary traveller or for anyone wanting to heal and relax in peaceful surroundings. Pamper yourself at our on-sight hair salon or sit and enjoy the sea view while your kids swim in the pool. Come and enjoy a nice long holiday with us or stop overnight - we are sure you’ll leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

We are going to serve breakfast during the soccer season June/July: Don’t miss out on the experience to have breakfast at restaurants with unique atmosphere that only Jeffreys Bay can offer. Organic, traditional, fresh baked treats, your pick. Some open from 7am.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at your establishment. We found the staff helpful and friendly. We also loved that we had a view of the ocean from our balcony.

Stayed at Carpe Diem for 2 nights. The accommodation is in a good location. Easy walk to restaurants (about 1 km to main downtown area). I question whether they should advertise that they have WI-FI...(one of the reasons we chose them). We had difficulty with it from day 1 and cannot say they really did much about it. Had to go to Internet cafe down the street.
