Description
Following an extremely successful first two years in operation, the unashamedly opulent, witty and glamorous Cape Cadogan Hotel has now launched “The Cape Cadogan Mews”. This fabulously exciting new concept in accommodation comprises privacy, exclusivity and independence set in the heart of the hip and happening Kloof Street area, where guests can enjoy the buzz of some of Cape Town’s finest restaurants and cafes.
The Cape Cadogan Mews boasts a selection of refurbished and modernized properties, each with their own character, elegantly decorated by David Strauss. The “Mews” concept of accommodation enjoys the best of both worlds; guests will be pampered by the hotel’s committed staff, whilst enjoying the freedom and independence offered by a private property.
Each property has an outdoor area, some with roof gardens and views across the city towards the Winelands and Table Mountain. The décor is an eclectic combination of contemporary and antique furniture, dramatic fabrics, lights and fine finishes. Each unit has the following facilities:
In addition to these facilities, the four bedroom villa has a swimming pool and DSTV.
Cadogan style, guests are welcomed into their cottage with an arrival starter kit (fresh milk, munchies and a bottle of wine) and optional daily breakfast baskets are available daily. The street side cafes are extremely popular for those who want to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and the ambience of Kloof Street.
Kloof Street is a fabulous base for sight seeing, set at the foot of Table Mountain, a few minutes drive from the Waterfront, Clifton and Camps Bay beaches and with easy access to the wine region, Cape Point and Kirstenbosch gardens.
