This elegant, historic 1902 Cape homestead overlooks False Bay, the mountains and the wetlands and is located only one block from the pristine Glencairn beach and tidal pool. Two inter-leading units with separate entrances sleep a total of 10 and may be rented separately or together.

CapClassique has been meticulously renovated to combine the gracious, spacious elegance of a bygone era with contemporary convenience. Soaring ceilings and gleaming Oregon pine floors blend with modern day furniture in neutral tones and Asian silk highlights.

We are conveniently situated only a few minutes' walk from shops, the train station, breathtaking hiking trails, a scuba center, the beach, the tidal pool, a wetland bird sanctuary, an associated spa, a tourist office and a variety of restaurants, pubs and take away outlets.

A lovely spot for a holiday with kids, we received a warm welcome from Eileen, and it was great to find tea, coffee, sugar, fruit and not to mention the bottle of Cap Classique already provided; which was a great touch for weary travellers. The location is ideal, with a tidal pool, train to Cape Town available, via Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay. Take always, pubs and Spar are all within walking distance. The house itself is spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished.
