CVK Resort

CVK Resort is a family business located on crater Lake Nyabikere, 21 km from Fort Portal and neighbouring Kibale National Park. We offer eight double rooms and a guest house with two twin rooms; extra beds can be arranged to fit a maximum of six guests. Furthermore, we also have a hostel with six large rooms and a capacity of 20 beds.

All rooms are self-contained, with hot shower facilities and toilets. The spacious guest house has shared toilets and showers, and each bed is provided with a mosquito net for a peaceful night's rest. All rooms overlook the lake, granting lovely morning and evening views. The guest house, in particular, sports lovely panoramic views of the lake.

The fully stocked bar and restaurant at CVK Resort caters for all your needs. Apart from our continental cuisine, CVK offers an exclusive buffet menu, mainly of local food. Our bar serves wines, spirits, African beers and soft drinks, and if visitors are keen to cook their own meals, they may utilize the fully equipped kitchen available at the Summer Guest House.

The lush vegetation and forest around CVK create a serene view from the lake, and the National Park and snow-capped Mountains of the Moon are easily seen from the resort gardens. There are many varied tourist activities which include bird watching of up to 70 species, nature walks around the crater lakes, and tracking chimpanzees and 12 other primates in the National Park. Other activities include swimming, fishing and canoeing in the clear fresh water of CVK Nyabikere Lake.
