Description

Buzz Backpackers is located in the cosy little town of Ficksburg on the way to "The Kingdom of the Sky" known as Lesotho, and is the ideal base from which to explore the Katsie Dam, Afri-Ski, and many other amazing attractions and adventures.

We offer a rustic sandstone home with a friendly ambience and well-trained, helpful staff. Other features include a fairy garden for children, barbecue facilities, pizza and take away restaurant, sports bar, pool tables, and an entertainment area with a big screen TV leading onto the cool thatched verandah in the beer garden.

Activities include hiking trails through the mountains and into sacred caves, horse riding at Rustlers Valley, and cherry picking on the neighbouring farms.

I had not yet completed the parking of my vehicle on the premises and I was already greeted and welcomed. Immediately made me feel good about the place, nothing was an effort for the staff. The bed had the most comfortable hollow in the middle that made for a good nights rest. Best home made burger I have had in ages. Generally a good vibe, locals are very friendly. I would re-visit if in the area. Only one negative, ablutions need to be jacked-up.
