An exclusive luxury safari-style tented camp on the banks of the Palmiet River, Button Quail is all about providing the best possible service and affordable accommodation.
Enjoy fuss-free accommodation amidst the gorgeous fynbos and the relaxing Palmiet river. While staying at Button Quail, you will be sleeping in luxurious tents, complete with en-suite bathrooms, overlooking the Palmiet river. On offer are queen-size beds with percale cotton linen, endless hot showers, big fluffy blankets and hot-water bottles; you are guaranteed a satisfying stay. Children's bedding must be brought, but beds are supplied.
This is a self-catering camp, but all of your basic cooking condiments are supplied, as well as everything you need to prepare a meal. If cooking isn't what you want, meals can be supplied as an optional extra. The establishment has no electricity and runs on solar power, paraffin lanterns, gas and candles.
Situated in the picturesque Palmiet valley, only 75 km from Cape Town, Button Quail shares a 5 km boundary with the Kogelberg Biosphere. We have loads of activities; 4x4 nature drives, boat trips on the lake, walking trails, mountain biking, canoeing and birdwatching.
