Bushwa is situated on 1000ha in the beautiful province of Limpopo in the heart of the Waterberg biosphere.  Ideal stop over on route to Botswana. We have the Bush-camp with 5 bedrooms and 2 tented chalets,loft room ,outside showers, private bathrooms, big dining area, lounge and bar area with TV and fire place, fully equiped kitchen and outside boma where you can enjoy an outside safari dinner (sleeps 20 people).

Big trees with hammocks to laze around the pool. Wooden deck and outside bar. 

A Guest house with 2 double bedrooms, 2 open plan single rooms sleeping 8 people.

Conference facilities available - Rates on Request.

Things to do at the Lodge:

Game Drives by qualified game drivers

Walking trails in the bush 2-3 hours

Order a picnic basket from the lodge and picnic at the banks of the river.

Bush sleep outs under the stars with the rangers on a deck.

Horse riding and bass fishing.

Bushwa is an amazing place. The entire experience was one of our best. The relaxing bushveld experince is enhanced at Bushwas by the friendly and welcoming staff. Our stay was outstanding, the accomodation is luxurious and well appointed and the Hemmingway style tents are definately worth the experience, The bathroom that opens to the bush and outside shower are exceptional features. The food is 5-star quality. You would never expect such wonderful and different dishes in the bush and yet Bushwa surprised us in the quality and variety of food offering. When you come to the main lodge to eat, you are spoilt with a fully decked out table setting and with the most amazing tastebud experiences. The game rangers are extremely knowlegdeable and share extra detail of the bush on your game drives. PJ was an excellent ranger and a great host during our stay. Annamarie has managed to create a small piece of heaven on earth, all of this built against a koppie with wonderful views accross the reserve. We will definately be back and would suggest Bushwa to anyone who is looking for that ideal luxurious bushveld getaway.

We had a fantastic time at Bushwa during a weekend breakaway for our wedding anniversary. The staff were friendly, helpful and really catered to our every need. The farm is in great condition, we saw loads of plains game. The luxury tented camp accommodation is amazing and the lodge is truly luxurious for a bush experience. The food was top notch, the onsite chef cooked chicken, game, lamb all to perfection, all weekend long. Highly recommended, we'll surely be back soon.

We had a wonderful time at the Bushwa Game Lodge. Annamarie and her staff were wonderful and were able to cater for a vegan! Very rare to find, especially in the bush. The accomodation was wonderful and the food was great! Thank you for a wonderful time!
