Bushstoep Game Lodge has fully catered or self-catering chalets with a private patio, braai and boma. Blended into the bushveld with added luxury, we have a beautiful fairy light dome on an island for bush weddings and conferences.

All our facilities are disabled friendly and we are one of the very few places in South Africa where the physically challenged can feel truly free. Even if confined to a wheelchair, you'll be able to enjoy game drives, fishing and the use of our hoist-configured swimming pool and Jacuzzi. All of our chalets and cottages are equipped for wheelchairs and our friendly staff is trained to assist you with getting in and out of game vehicles, helicopters and planes.

There are two the Elephant and Giraffe thatched chalets which will be your home when staying here. Eacg chalet has two bedrooms and a loft area. There is an open-plan living area, well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. The entire chalet is neatly tiled and the spacious bathroom consists of a double shower and bath. All windows and doors have netting which ensures a good night’s sleep without any mosquitos bugging you.

The bush wedding that you have dreamt about awaits you. Host your intimate 60-guest wedding for a ridiculously low introduction price. Enquire for more detailed packages that include venue hire for one day and one evening. We offer the honeymoon suite for the bride to get ready and the couple to sleep after the big day. Catering for 50 people with a full banquet menu, cutlery, crockery, linen and tableware are all included. We can cater for all your wedding needs and can negotiate a wedding package for you.

There are many activities and day excursions offered by the lodge, and a registered tour guide is always on duty to ensure that you don't miss any of these amazing attractions. Enjoy game drives at a nearby lodge where you can view the Big 5, go hot air ballooning and horse riding, but booking is essential. Bourkes' Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, Echo Caves, Kapama Cheetah Farm, Mighty Baobab Tree are all waiting to be discovered by you.

Best honeymoon ever

We had the most amazing week. The staff is very friendly and did everything for us. They made our honeymoon a dream come true. We will definately visit Bushstoep game lodge each year fro our aniversary. Best Lodge ever!
