Buschhotel

A truly relaxing experience in the middle of the bush is what sets the Buschhotel apart. A common landmark always seen from the road between Windhoek and Swakopmund, Buschhotel has now opened its doors to the public. Set atop a granite hill overlooking vast Namibian landscapes, the lodge displays a unique building style.

The main lodge consists of a central lounge area with a large fireplace, two dining rooms and a kitchen. The bungalows are individually styled and built in the bush, with campsites nestled between crags and crevices all around the granite outcrop.

The Buschhotel is conveniently located close to all the major sites in Namibia, making it the ideal holiday destination. Relax at the natural swimming pool at the base of the rock, or enjoy a cocktail at our bar overlooking the pool. Our bar is fully stocked and offers stunning sunset cocktails. We have our barbecue area where a variety of bushman fondue parties take place or you can just sit around the fire pit and listen to the night sounds.

The main lodge has two decks with one right on top with a 360-degree view, overlooking the waterhole where numerous small game congregate. A variety of bird species can be found in this area either from the lookout deck or on a self-guided walk. Guests can also just relax around the pool in one of our hammocks or enjoy an ice-cold drink at the bar. All visitors can enjoy typical Namibian cuisine in any of our dining rooms, be it on the hanging tables, the tucked-away restaurant for cold evenings or at our barbecue pits next to the pool and bar.
