Burn Cottage is a large family cottage in the heart Newlands – tucked away between the University of Cape Town, Kirstenbosch, Rhodes Memorial and the sports grounds. Four en-suite bedrooms: this old style Cottage has a charm that will enhance your stay in Cape Town! Comprising of a lounge and sun room that leads off to the front garden, large dining room and second living room, kitchen, two en-suite bedrooms down stairs – both access to the garden. Upstairs are two more spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. You will want to take a walk through the garden; and eat some of the fruits off the trees – the cottage will remind you of a life in Cape Town in years gone-by. Lounge by the fenced in pool, or light a fire in the fire place. Read a book in the sun room or enjoy breakfast on the south patio. Burn Cottage may be conveniently situated close to the M3 – but you may well think you are somewhere in the country side when you are tucked away behind the trees and shrubs. Secure parking for one car, off-street parking for 3 more; Satellite TV for the kids, private pool, out door living by the barbeque. Very quiet and secure in a small side road, walking distance to the local store and Newlands Village. Close access to the M3 – minutes from the City Centre, Airport , Hout Bay and out towards Cape Point, Simons Town and Muizenberg and the Winelands.
