With an emphasis on total rest and relaxation, Bumi Hills Safari Lodge encompasses the natural splendour of Kariba. With the Zambezi escarpment as its backdrop, the lodge overlooks the foreshore below and the vastness of Lake Kariba.

Each of the 20 rooms boast a verandah overlooking either the lake or natural panorama of the bush and beyond, while tasteful décor evokes the earthy sensuality of a true African safari experience. Bumi Hills Safari Lodge offers a variety of game and birdlife viewing for the enthusiast and amateur alike. Elephant, buffalo, kudu, and impala abound, while lions can be heard on the hunt.

Almost 400 bird species have been recorded on the valley floor and around the lake shore. These include the European hobby, the Cuckoo falcon and the Bat hawk. Fish eagles and Bateleur eagles survey all from above.
