Description
Enjoy idyllic wide-open spaces and farm life while staying in the comfortable colonial style farmhouse, nestled among oak and cedar trees. In summer our orchard bears an abundance of apples, peaches, figs, cherries and pears eat your fill.
We have 3 beautiful horses wandering freely. Start your day with a hearty farm breakfast. Smell the exquisite wild flowers scattered through the gently rolling grasslands, spot many wonderful birds. The highlands boast good golfing and many trout dams all nearby and our trout rods are available for your use. The farm is only 15min drive from Dullstroom where you can enjoy good coffee or warm meals in the many restaurants and browse the antique shops. Cosy up in the evenings with a warm log fire, a glass of red and listen to some of our old records. If you are lucky you may also hear the yip-yip of the jackal and the gentle plopping sound of the tree frogs under the star studded sky. If you are very fortunate you may even see one of the rare African Hedgehogs.
