Absolutely a wonderful stay in a little bit of ''god's own'' would recommend Bucklers to anyone wishing to find a truly relaxing spot in Southern Kruger only minutes away from the Crocodile gate. The property is first class as was our host Robert who nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very much at home here.Robert also sorted out safaris and travel arrangements for us during our stay. It was a wonderful stay, Robert is just perfect, his friendliness and hospitality is excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, very nice furnitures, and the rest of the lodge is the same. The location is perfect, the back garden is really Kruger, the gate is in a few minutes drive only, very easy access. The home made breakfast was also excellent, very good start of the day. Buckler’s Africa is an informal private lodge in a stunning setting on the banks of the Crocodile River, overlooking the Kruger Park.The thatched property with high ceilings and cool terracotta covers over 5 hectares of gardens and bush. Relax at the pool and “ game watch” over the river or drive into the Kruger Park 7km away. The Mozambique coast or the mountains of Swaziland are both a little more than an hour’s drive.
