Brooke side offers everything you need for a truly unwinding and rejuvenating getaway experience.This establishment is beautifully decorated, each with its own theme. The rooms all have queen extra length beds, under floor heating, electric blankets and each have a private outdoor deck. Under cover parking is also provided.
The Eastern Free State is a beautiful part of our country. We are approximately 20km from the Golden Gate, 32km from Bethlehem and close to the Lesotho border. Clarens offers river rafting, quad biking, horse riding, game farms, hiking, golf, fly fishing, ab ceiling, archery and many many more activities. There are numerous art galleries, pottery shops, etc.
We also have a selection of excellent restaurants to pick and choose from. One of the many events is the Cherry Festival which takes place every year in November, National hot air balloon championships in May/June, Maluti Classic Cycle tour in October, Harley Davidson weekend in November, Surrender Hill Marathon in February, just to name but a few. Our little town is a haven for artists of all kinds and we were also the first town in South Africa to receive the ‘Proudly South African’ award.
