Britzhuis

Britzhuis is a renovated, 100-year-old house situated in the Northern Cape in a hamlet called Plooysburg. The area is known for its clear skies and stars, cold winters and hot summers.

Britzhuis offers four bedrooms with the main bedroom being en-suite. The three other bedrooms share a full bathroom. All linen is provided. The open-plan lounge is equipped with a TV with DStv. The lounge is fitted with a fireplace for the cold winter nights and a small dining area. The kitchen contains a small fridge, a chest freezer, a stove, a microwave, as well as the necessary cutlery and crockery. Guests can also make use of the washing machine. The 'stoep' is equipped with a braai and Jacuzzi where guests can experience the silence of the Karoo and the splendour of its stars.

The town has a Dutch Reformed church, a police station, a school, a shop and a few houses. Mokala Sanparks gate is 30 km away and guests can view engravings at Driekopseiland, about 3 km from the house. Kimberly is situated 70 km away.

Britzhuis is ideal for that weekend away from the city and spending some quality time with family.
