Bridge House Guest House is a lovely Tuscan style home situated in quiet cul-de-sac on the Braamfontein stream. Patrick and Linda welcome you to their 4 star guest house with its five large bedrooms all with sunny north facing views of the river and garden.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms, televisions with M Net, ceiling fans, heaters, electric blankets,wireless ADSL computer connections, built in safes for valuables, telephones, tea / coffee facilities, working desks, hair dryers and secure off-street parking.
Conveniently situated on the border of Parkhurst / Greenside within walking distance to the beautiful antique shops of Parkhurst and some of Johannesburg's finest restaurants and coffee shops.
Bridge House is on the border of the Parkview Golf Club, Pirates Bowling Club and the Parkview Squash Club.
Laundry can be arranged.
Wireless ADSL internet in all rooms and even in the garden!!
Enjoy your breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking the river and garden. Although you are in the middle of Johannesburg it is quiet and peaceful the only sound being the running water and the chirping of many species of bird.
A short distance from Bridge House you will find the Rosebank Flea Market, the exclusive Hyde Park Shopping Centre, Rosebank Mall, Wits University, Wits Business School, Zoo Lake, Johannesburg Zoo, Rosebank Clinic, Millpark Hospital and Kenridge Hospital, Only 15 minutes away from Sandton City, the N1 freeway and 10 minutes from central JHB.
Bridge House gives you the feeling of being in the heart of TUSCANY, so why not pretend for a while.

It was lovely to come back to the peaceful sound of running water outside our room, the Bridgehouse is very pretty. The interior could do with some updating, but otherwise an excellent stay.

My wife fell in love with the gorgeous rooms and the decor of Bridge House combined with the feel of Venice and the country side all in one. The tranquility of a steady stream of clean water under a bridge leading towards the pool and beautiful garden was the most romantic setting for our 11th wedding anniversary. I still cannot believe such a beautiful place exists within a very secure relaxed and fashionable area with a mixture of antique shop and a variety of bistros close by. Thank you for your hospitality, we will return.

Our stay at Bridgehouse was wonderful, the staff very helpful, Linda truly made my perfect romantic evening a great success. The atmosphere and scenery alone takes you away from the busy lifestyle of JHB, and a feel of relaxation is just what the Doctor ordered!
