Description

Bontkop B&B is located right on the beach at Melkbosstrand, with unspoilt views of Table Mountain over the bay. The rustic stink wood furnished bedrooms in the features spacious en-suite bathrooms, a TV with M-net, coffee and tea-making facilities, a safe, and sea or mountain views. Features also include a lounge area with microwave and stocked refrigerator and a pool deck with barbecue facilities.

Adjacent to the house is a park with play structures, as well as a boardwalk running along beach with natural tidal pool and past cosy restaurants and a supermarket on the beachfront. Bordering the property southbound is a Nature Reserve with unspoilt beaches.

Spend your day lazing next to the pool or on the private sun deck watching whales, or simply kick back and listen to the waves cascading over the rocks below. Your hosts grew up locally, and with more than 25 years experience in mountaineering, diving and surfing, will gladly assist you in planning your excursions.

Bontkop is 'n lieflike plek met die mooiste uitsig oor die see en Tafelberg. Dis rustig en stil. Ons het dadelik tuis gevoel deur ons wonderlike gasheer en gasvrou en is amper as familie uitmekaar! Ons het alles gekry waarvoor ons gesoek het! Van die uitsig, die gerief, die rustigheid tot die heerlikste ontbyt! Sal verseker wil terugkeer en dit ook vir ander sterk aanbeveel! Melbosstrand is beautiful and Bontkop is right on the beach, looking out over table Mountain. I had the most beautiful room with 180-degree views of the ocean and Cape Town. It was wonderful.

Last day of a month-long trip to SA. Good, clean accommodation with friendly owners. We enjoyed the talks we had about the interesting books in the B&B. Rooms have great views. Great breakfast. The rocks have a resident Cape Fur seal.

Ronel made me feel completely at home, with a perfect blend of tranquility, privacy and good conversation. The guesthouse is squeeky clean and beautifully decorated, with a warm personal touch. Looking out over Table Mountain and Robben Island, the view was spectacular and I experienced all four seasons from my bedroom window!
