Bushmen/San Village

Bushmen/San Village was a good adventure for me, from its location away from the city to the staff and the game drive was just marvelous. Although its a hunters spot I felt at peace and rested there.

We stayed at Nyala, I was very disappointed as there was no electricity and on the website it stated that there was. As for the rest, also disappointed. The tent was ripped and was dirty, there wasn't even a grill provided nor were the knives and forks that were provided clean. The trash can was dirty. The bed sheets were not replaced and one can tell with the cigarette burns and dirt on them that the toilet seats were broken. The gas geyser was fixed by my husband for warm water. The website is misleading. I was very upset. There was music from somewhere on the place that kept playing until four in the morning. Never again! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful! A place where you can rest in peace.

We booked for the tented camp to have a very quiet weekend getaway. We were upgraded to the lodge and this turned out to be not so quiet. We ended up in the middle of a year-end full-day workshop, a couple of families with their kids running around and with staff really not focused on supplying service to a small group of four friends wanting to sit down, have a whiskey and enjoy each other's company. Even though we enjoyed our stay, it was not what we expected.

More beautiful than ever, such a special place. Andre, Burt and Hannes are the most fabulous hosts and their staff are warm and caring. Can't wait to go back.
