Everything we expected. Beautiful views, fantastic service. Colin and Mark are wonderful hosts. The pool house was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bath with the view to the sea was divine! We will most definetly return the next time we need a break away from the city.

Description
The exquisite views from Blue Tangerine luxury guesthouse across the sandy fynbos of Table Mountain National Park to the famous eight kilometer Noordhoek beach and out into the Atlantic Ocean are second to none.
Nestling comfortably between Chapman’s Peak on one side and the Cape Peninsula mountains on the other, guests are quickly mesmerized by the views at every turn, thanks to the super-sized French windows in nearly every room.

The atmosphere at Blue Tangerine is that of a relaxed, weekend house party. The open-plan main guest area has a soaring thatched roof, while all the bedrooms have French windows opening onto a private patio and access to the one and a half acres of beautifully manicured gardens, free-form solar heated pool, Jacuzzi and, of course, those stunning views.
There are 6 suites at Blue Tangerine, 4 of which are located in the main house. The remaining 2 are a quaint and cozy garden cottage and a self-catering pool cottage, where the bath is placed in front of ceiling-high windows, looking out to the ocean. All have been tastefully decorated and furnished to an impeccable standard, and feature private patio, TV with DSTV, mini safe and complimentary tea and coffee tray. Newly renovated bathrooms in all rooms have heated towel rails, excellent lighting and bath and shower facilities.
Round off a perfect day with a champagne sundowner on the terrace, followed by a gourmet dinner with complementary wines, and your Blue Tangerine experience will be complete.
Blue Tangerine is not a destination but rather a boutique retreat only 30 minutes from the hustle of the Mother City. It is a place to unwind, meditate and be pampered. Relax and enjoy the breathtaking views whilst sipping a sundowner and you are guaranteed to be left wanting more.

| The smallest of the guest rooms at Blue Tangerine, the Fountain Room has been designed with the disabled visitor in mind.
With wheel chair access this room benefits from a spacious shower room with a bench seat, making bathing a relaxing experience.
Located at the front of the house there are great views across to Cape Towns infamous Kommetjie lighthouse and of Chapman's Bay.
Single wardrobe, mini safe, TV with DVD Player and a private patio are features of this cosy and comfortable room.

| The Garden Cottage, is a cozy and comfortable suite which is located in the grounds of Blue Tangerine. The suite comprises of a living area, spacious bedroom and bathroom, and has some of the best views across to Chapman's Peak.
A patio area in front of the cottage has a table and chairs and enables guests to relax and enjoy the sunsets in comfort.
A newly renovated bathroom has all the modern conveniences, including a heated towel rail, shaver point, and great lighting. Molton Brown bath products add the finishing touches.
Well appointed and comfortable this is a perfect tranquil spot to escape to. |
