Blue Door Self-catering Accommodation

Blue Door Self-catering Accommodation is located in a quaint seaside village on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. It offers the ideal accommodation option for two nature lovers. Spend a quiet and relaxing holiday enjoying the sound and smell of the sea.

The open-plan apartment offers a comfortable queen-size bed and a ceiling fan. Guests can watch the dolphins and whales playing in the water from their bed. The en-suite bathroom consists of a bath and a shower; guests need to bring their own towels. The small lounge has a kitchenette that is equipped with a two-plate stove, an oven, a kettle and a microwave. There is a TV, but guests need to bring their own decoder, smart card and remote to view DStv.

The unit has its own furnished patio and guests can make use of the communal swimming pool, garden and braai facilities. The apartment is non-smoking and unfortunately no pets or children under the age of 18 years are allowed. The unit has a separate private entrance and a lock-up garage is available.

Take a stroll through the subtropical garden, out the little gate and within 50 m guests will be on a quiet beach or fishing off the rocks. There are two domestic cats, Billy and Mopsy. We also receive regular visits from vervet monkeys, an occasional leguaan, a variety of birds and other small creatures.

We are within a short drive of safe beaches and there are a number of nature reserves in the vicinity. Guests can visit the casino and crocodile farm or enjoy boat trips, fishing, golf, hiking, horse riding and scuba diving.
