Excellent hosts
Werner and Briggite were excellent hosts and made us most welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and the gardens were beautiful to look out on to. We really couldn't have asked for more, Werner even offered to take us to the 60th party and pick us up if we all wanted to have a drink (other two friends were there too) but I don't drink so they had a driver. Whenever we go back to Somerset West again we will most certainly stay at Blue Crane again, we felt really at home.

Description
Owner-managers Brigitte and Werner offer exclusive 4-star (tourism grading council of South Africa) accommodation with personal attention to every guest's requirements to ensure a super holiday. Nestled in the safe, up market and tranquil Parel Vallei of Somerset West, the Blue Crane B&B is perfectly situated to explore the Winelands and attractions of the Western Cape. All rooms are available as Self catering and/or B&B accommodation. Breakfast is served in the elegant breakfast room free flowing onto the pool deck. All five double rooms have private en-suite bathrooms, extra-length king-sized beds, a kitchenette, 10-channel DSTV and private entrances from furnished patios. Furthermore air conditioning units have been fitted to all guest rooms as well as wireless internet access. Alternatively there is fax, internet and e-mail facilities freely available in the reception area during the day. The pool, covered pool patio with braai ( BBQ ) facilities as well as the heated 8-seater cocktail pool are exclusively for guest's use. Secure off-street parking is available for all guests. Bookings for golf courses and restaurants are attended to by Brigitte, whereas day tours as well as Garden Route Tours are taken care of by Werner, a qualified and registered tour guide. For the self driven explorers there is plenty of free advice from Werner. Self catering units are cleaned and serviced daily ( Mon. - Sat. ) and a laundry service is available on site.

Two roomed apartment with seperate Bedroom and lounge/living room. Sleeper couch on request. Both rooms have air condition, independant TV's and open onto the private covered garden Patio. Lounge/living room has a kitchenette with Microwave oven, fridge and coffe/tea facilities. The unit has it's own bathroom with big walk-in shower. Bathroom and rooms are very generously sized.
