Blue Banana Lodge offers comfortable and affordable accommodation in the heart of Mthatha. When staying at the lodge, guests have a choice of six comfortable rooms furnished with queen-size or single beds.

Each room has a TV with local channels and DStv. Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms that consist of baths or showers. A communal lounge is equipped with a TV and also has a fireplace to create a homely atmosphere. Breakfast is provided and guests have safe parking for their vehicles.

The lodge is situated a short drive from the city centre and the area offers a variety of attractions. Mthatha is in the heart of the Nelson Mandela Route which starts in King Williams Town and moves through Bisho and along the N2. The Nelson Mandela Museum opened 10 years ago after he was released from prison. Guests can also visit various nature reserves, and the Wild Coast Golf Course offers an 18-hole course for the golfers.
