Game viewing is available with zebra, impala, wilderbeast and more. The chalets overlook a beautiful dam which is stocked with black bass. Fishing is on a catch and release basis. Each chalet has a bathroom, bedrooms, living area, kitchen area and a stoep. The chalets are equiped for self catering. Each chalet has a braai outside. Close by you will find hiking and cycling paths, rock climbing and horse riding. Within an hours drive there is the fascinating Sudwala caves and Dinosaur park, Nelspruit which has the Riverside mall and casino, also the famous Botanical gardens. About an hour and a half from us you can visit Kruger Park, God's window, Pilgrims Rest and the Blyde River Canyon. The Retreat was once a working farm and it retains a lot of the rustic charm.
