Restaurant is excellent
Initially i was somewhat disappointed with the location as I had expected the establishment to be closer to 'the Berg'. As a B and B for short overnight or weekend retreats I would rate Bingelela as very good but for longer visits there are shortcomings as there are no onsite activities offered for children/teenagers and therefore one needs to travel to other Berg establishments to partake in activities like hiking, abseiling, quad biking and horse-riding. my parents stayed at Bingelela over the long-weekend, Mr and Mrs Mariemuthu. They enjoyed it thoroughly, because they called me all the time to tell me what a wonderful time they were having.....They appreciated the peace and knowing my dad being a Pastor, He was overcome by God's creation. Everything aspect of life for him always relates back to the Lord.

Bingelela B & B is situated on a farm, just outside of Bergville in the Northern Drakensberg. Situated as central as can be for your much needed getaway, overnight stay or gateway to the amazing Northern- and Central Drakensberg. 12 Free standing cottages provides comfortable, affordable and homely accommodation. Cottages are serviced on a daily basis. Our Contemporary Classic Restaurant is well known in the area and is a favorite meeting point for young and old. For your entertainment we offer quad bikes and a quad track for hire. Our lovely Al Fresco setting round the swimming pool ensures a most relaxing and enjoyable stay for young and old!
