Nestled right in the gateway to the lowveld surroundings, Billy Bongo Backpackers invites you to stay a couple of days. This is the ideal place to kick back and relax, soaking up some sun and listening to the river flow.

Explore the Blyderiver and Sabie Valley, safari your heart out in Kruger National Park or dine in style in the culinary selection of local restaurants. We have a plethora of outdoor activities for everyone's taste to experience.

The backpackers is owner run, with en-suite dorms, doubles, twins and undercover camping.

Head for the hills and spend a day fly fishing, hiking, picnicing at a waterfall and hunting for some forest mushrooms. There will be a beautiful sunset and a bonfire roaring at night to welcome you back from a day of activities.

We offer Internet, email, laundry and airport pick-up services. Fall in love with the beauty, serenity and absolute splendour of the Sabie Valley.
