Description
Bettee Accommodation is situated in the little country town of Parys that lies on the southern banks of the Vaal River - an hour’s drive from Johannesburg. Parys is essentially a farming community where tobacco, corn and cattle are farmed, but it has also become a popular town to visit.
We have two self-catering units. There is the Bettee unit that has a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms; the main bedroom has a double bed; the second bedroom has twin beds; and there is a bathroom with a bath and shower. Linen and bath towels are provided. The unit has a large living and dining room with DStv and braai facilities.
The second self-catering unit is Nagrus, which has a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a bath and a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided. There is a living and dining room furnished with antiques and there are braai facilities.
There are some lovely hiking trails in and around the area and the town is scattered with art, antique and coffee shops. You can do river rafting, abseiling and 4x4 routes as part of the line-up of activities available.
