Betesda Lodge and Camping

In the heart of the Namib Desert there is a place where time does not exist. The hand of God paused on these vast plains, touching your senses as never before. A world of colour and awe-inspiring plains, surrounded by magnificent mountains, is where guests can experience tranquility.

Relax alongside the sparkling swimming pool or enjoy a meal at the dining room area where excellent farm-style meals are prepared with great care by our chef. Guests can also enjoy an ice cold Namibian-brewed beer while the sun slowly sets behind the mountains.

Accommodation is offered in comfortable rooms which were built with flat rocks from the mountains of Betesda. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning and boasts wonderful views over the vast plains of the Namib, with its different contrast of rock, grass, mountains and sand.

For those guests wishing to get closer to nature, camp out under a big tree with barbecue facilities and ablution block with hot water and experience the clear sky at night with the sounds of jackal in the background. The campsite is also within walking distance from the dining area and swimming pool.
