The spectacular Elands Waterfall is just up the road from the lodge. We offer 7 Chalets with en-suite bathrooms, a family unit with two bedrooms and a bathroom, a self-catering unit and a romantic honeymoon suite with a fireplace. All units are fully serviced and linen and towels are provided. All rooms have DSTV and air-conditioning. Our restaurant "Five Olws" offers memorable four-course dinners, sun washed breakfasts and genial lunches either indoors or on the veranda over looking the pool. Specific meal requirements can be arranged on request. For energetic guests we have a tennis court, squash court, dartboard, pool table, gym with a sauna, table tennis, fly fishing. We several short nature walks on the property and on the neighboring nature reserve. Abseiling and horse riding can be arranged. Alternatively, you can simply relax around the pool. Krugerhof in Waterval Onder was the last residence of President Paul Kruger. The old house has been converted into a museum commemorating "Oom Paul", the Anglo Boer war and the old Delagoa Bay railway line.

We had a wonderful stay at Bergwaters Eco Lodge & Spa whilst we were on honeymoon in South Africa. It was such a lovely location, nice and peaceful and the service was excellent. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We would love to come and stay again if we are in the area in the future. Many many thanks. The spa facilites were excellent too. Overall our experience was great and very good value for money.

We had a wonderful reception from Chantel & Iven. The settings were tremendous and the meal on Valentines day a delight with the room decorated out almost as if they were hosting a wedding.
It was just what we needed after a long flight.

We had a very comfortable stay here in the self contained unit. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The establishment is beautiful and our unit was private with a view over the river - stunning. The unit is looking a little tired but was comfortable and clean - the new owners are planning to renovate it soon. This lodge has loads of character and I would love to visit it again.
