Bergsig Trout Farm and Log Cabin

Cabin was clean and is very rustic. If you want to watch TV you need to take your own DStv decoder with as you can't pick up any other channels. The lighting in the cabin is a bit dark but otherwise it was very peaceful and quiet. Took a while to get used to the night sounds.

We only stayed at Bergsig for one evening but it was magical. We would definitely recommend it to travelers who want to experience nature in luxury. The cabin was well equipped, enjoyed everything, the view! Thank you!

Lovely weekend. Cabin sleeps 6 people. Two seperate bedrooms and two bank beds suitable for kids (not adults). Very reasonable priced.

The Cabin could be cleaner-very dusty and it is old dust compiled on shelves extractor on stove above fireplace exc. Add Towel ralings in bathrooms. The drums to braai in was useless and no proper braaigrids. Safety doors to keep the monkeys out. Part of the deck was damaged and the ralings unstable-dangerous. The stay was nice and relaxed although for the price we have stayed at much better equiped lodges.

Very peaceful - enjoyed the wind in the trees and sound of the water passing by. Good to hear the lion's roar at night and the laughing Jackals.
